Pancake Day
Want to do the household cook a favor this Saturday and help out a worthy cause at the same time?
Well, plan to attend the annual Pancake Day, hosted by the Carmi Kiwanis Club. Pancakes will be served at the First Christian Church from 6:30 until around 10 Saturday morning (July 31).
Tickets may be purchased in advance from any Kiwanis member for $5 or you can pay $7 that morning at the church.
At any rate, you get a great flapjack breakfast, complete with a side and drink, courtesy of the Carmi Kiwanis Club.
Proceeds from the day will be used by the Kiwanis for their many charitable projects and the upcoming Corn Days celebration set for the second weekend of October.
