A 57 year old Carmi woman, Karen Osborne, is behind bars in the White County Jail following her Friday morning arrest by the Carmi Police Department and the White County Sheriff’s Department. A search warrant was executed at Osborne’s residence at 510 N. 7th Street. The search warrant was obtained following a drug investigation. Osborne was placed under arrest after some drug paraphernalia and a half gram of methamphetamine were found. She was charged with possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
