It’s opening night for the Carmi-White County High School drama department. Students will embark on their fall production of Seussical the Musical with the first of 3 shows tonight. Department head Sherry Passmore says this is the first musical the students have been able to do since CoViD so it feels like another step in getting back to normal. Senior Kadence Driscoll is a theater main stay and says the choreographers have worked hard to make sure the show is fun for the audience.
Tori Duckworth gives a synopsis of what to expect.
Shows will be available tonight and tomorrow at 7:30pm. There will also be a Sunday matinee at 2:30pm. Each show is expected to run about an hour and 40 minutes. Tickets will be available at the door and are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
