Lincoln Attendance Center will conduct online pre-registration for students who will be attending Kindergarten in the 2020 – 2021 school year. Children who are five years of age on or before September 1, 2020 are eligible to start school in August. The pre-registration portal will be open from Wednesday, May 13th to Friday, May 29th. Please go to the CWC district website at www.carmischools.org and click on the link to begin the pre-registration process. Information obtained at this early registration provides us with a tentative number of kindergarten students. The data helps us purchase supplies, finalize staffing plans, and prepare bus routes for next year. Because of the current shelter-in-place order, we will not be able to conduct speech screening or the readiness assessment with each potential kindergartner in person, so we are hopeful that each parent will conduct the screening at home with their student and input the results.
This is the beginning of the registration process. District-wide registration will be August 6th from 9:00am to 7:00pm in order to finalize registration, update records, and find out who your child’s teacher will be for the school year. We would appreciate you telling friends and family about this online registration if you know of a child who will be five years old by September 1, 2020.
