An Olney man pled guilty to a charge of theft of government funds in federal court on Thursday.
49 year old James L Porter entered the plea in Benton on Thursday. He was accused of concealing employment in order to draw Social Security benefits from disability insurance.
Porter is set to be sentenced on May 3rd. The charge carries a maximum sentence of ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
