A man was killed Monday night in an oilfield accident in White County.
According to Sheriff Randy Graves, White County 911 received a call from an employee of Consolidated Drilling Services just before 11 PM Monday, reporting that they were drilling an oil well south of Carmi. The caller said they were loading oilfield pipe into tubs, when the elevator latch came undone and the pipe they were loading struck an employee, Joseph Musgrave.
