The Carmi Police Department made arrested two individuals at Pundrakes in Carmi Monday for different offenses. At around 1 p.m. 39 year old Misty R Escoto Aponte was at the business when she was taken into custody on a White County warrant for Failure to Appear. Bond was set at $500. Aponte paid bond and was released.
Later in the day officers with the Carmi Police Department arrested another at Donnie G Newman, 51, of 706 N Sixth Street, for Criminal Damage to Property. Newman is being held at the White County Jail on a $1500 bond.
