New CEO at Elastec
Elastec Inc. announced today that Mark Hilliard has been appointed new Chief Executive Officer of the company. Hilliard will assume responsibilities on August 1st.
Retiring CEO, Jeff Bohleber, will enjoy semi-retirement and retain a part-time position as Chief Financial Officer. “I’ve had the opportunity to work with Mark for the past five years and I’ve found his judgement in business to be excellent. His ability to absorb Elastec’s products and processes and his implementation of new procedures improved productivity and quality. His vast prior experience coupled with this knowledge will help Elastec grow to the next level.” said Bohleber.
Hilliard joined Elastec in 2015 as Operations Manager at the company’s fabrication facility in Carmi, Illinois. Later that year, he was promoted to General Manager overseeing the departments of Engineering, Procurement, Shipping, Quality and Information Technology.
In 2020, Hilliard was promoted to Vice President of Operations and assumed responsibilites for manufacturing operations in all facilities in Carmi, Illinois, Fairfield, Illinois, and Cocoa, Florida.

Elastec co-founder and former CEO, Donnie Wilson commented “I am excited about Mark’s promotion to CEO. His years of experience in manufacturing and his time at Elastec in management will serve the company well for future growth.”
“Mark worked for Airtex during much of the time I worked for their sister company, Champion Laboratories, and was a critical member of the management team. His leadership ability, planning skills and attention to detail helped maneuver the company through some very challenging times.” said Elastec Board of Directors member, John Evans.
