Multiple Traffic Citations And Charges Were Accumulated Over The Weekend

The Carmi Police Department stayed busy over the weekend.

On Saturday, May 7th at 6:40 p.m. an officer with the CPD pulled over 29 year old Andrew B Page of 113 Jenette Street of Carmi and placed him under arrest for Driving While License Suspended and Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle. Bond for the offenses was $250. Page paid bond at the scene and was released.

At around 10:30 p.m. a Officer initiated a traffic stop in front of the SIC building that resulted in the arrest of 37 year Vikki Lyn Trimm of Sesser for Unlawful Use of Registration and Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. Trimm was taken to the White County Jail, where bond was set at $250. Trimm paid bond and was released. A court date for Trimm has been set for June 7th.

Just a bit later, an officer with the CPD was advised that 36 year old William E Wolf JR was seen on camera driving a 2016 Chevrolet Cruz on North Main Cross and parking in front of the Carmi Police Department. The officer knew that Wolf had a revoked driver’s license. When the officer arrived at the Police Department, Wolf told him that he had moved the vehicle. Wolf was given a Notice to Appear in court for June 7th on the charge of Driving While License Revoked.

And on Sunday, Officers arrested 28 year old Kyle A Puckett of Norris City for DUI, Driving While License Revoked, Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Firearm Ammunition by a Felon and Failure to Report an Accident to the Police Authority after Puckett crashed into a safety pole in front of a gas pump at Hucks.
