On 09/04/2015, the Mt. Carmel Police arrested 45 year old Frank L. Eaton of Albion, Illinois. A Mt. Carmel Police Officer stopped Eaton for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop it was determined that Eaton had open alcohol in his vehicle. A search of Eaton and his property resulted in the arresting officer finding suspected methamphetamine, needles, cannabis, and a glass pipe. Eaton was placed under arrest and transported to the Wabash County Jail. Eaton was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession hypodermic needles, and he was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol.
On 09/05/2015, the Mt. Carmel Police arrested 24 year old Mark J. Mendoza of Evansville, Indiana. Mendoza was arrested after he was stopped for a traffic violation in the 1600 block of W. 9th Street. During the traffic stop it was discovered Mendoza was driving on a suspended driver’s license. Mendoza was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for driving while suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Mendoza was held pending the posting of bond.
On 09/05/2015, the Mt. Carmel Police arrested 25 year old Shawn L. Glover of Mt. Carmel. Police were called to the 1000 block of W. 5th Street in Mt. Carmel reference a disturbance. According to the police report, Glover was intoxicated and acting in a disorderly manner. Glover was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with disorderly conduct. Glover was held pending the posting of $150.00.
On 09/06/2015, the Mt. Carmel Police arrested 19 year old Miranda K. Fritchley of West Salem, Illinois. Fritchley was arrested after she was observed operating a motor vehicle while her driver’s license was suspended. However, before the arresting officer was able to place handcuffs on Fritchley, Fritchley ran on foot from the police. Fritchley was caught and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with driving while license is suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and resisting arrest. Fritchley was transported to the Wabash County Jail and held pending the posting of bond.
On 09/06/2015, the Mt. Carmel Police arrested Kenneth D. Martin III of Mt. Carmel. Martin was stopped for a traffic violation in the area of 5th and Poplar Street. During the traffic stop it was determined that Martin was driving on a revoked driver’s license. Martin was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for driving while revoked. Martin was held pending the posting of bond.
On 09/07/2015, a Mt. Carmel couple was arrested after police were called to their residence reference a domestic. Police arrested Tasha N. Sayge, age 29, of Mt. Carmel after it was alleged she struck her husband Justin L. Sayge upon his chest causing a mark. Justin Sayge was also arrested by the police after it was discovered he was wanted on a failure to appear warrant out of Wabash County Jail. Both individuals were transported to the Wabash County Jail. Tasha Sayge was charged with domestic battery and is being held pending the posting of bond. Justin Sayge was served the Wabash County Warrant and later released after posting $200.00 bond.
