Mt. Carmel Police arrested 58 year old William W. Wolf of Mt. Carmel after he was observed operating a motor vehicle. A Mt. Carmel Police Officer observed Wolf operating a 1994 Jeep in the 400 block of Chestnut Street in Mt. Carmel and knew his license was suspended. Wolf was taken into custody and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held pending the posting of bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 25 year old Austin W. Moore of Mt. Carmel. Police were called to 115 W. 1st Street in Mt. Carmel reference Moore entering the residence without legal authority. When officer’s arrived on scene they found an intoxicated Moore walking out of the said residence. Moore was arrested and originally charged with criminal trespass to a residence. Moore picked up a second charge after threating physical harm to the responding officer’s and jail staff. Moore was then charged with aggravated assault. Moore is being held in the Wabash County Jail pending the posting of $3,000.00 cash bond.
Matthew C. Goff, age 44, of Riverton, Illinois was arrested after he was stopped for a traffic violation in the 1300 block of W. 9th Street. According to the police report, the arresting officer noticed a strong alcoholic beverage smell coming from his person. The arresting officer reported that Goff failed field sobriety testing. Goff was arrested for suspicion of DUI and was taken to the Wabash County Jail. Goff was cited for DUI, driving revoked, and illegal transportation of alcohol. Goff was held pending the posting of bond.

Mt. Carmel Police arrested 25 year old Shelby L. Pierce of Mt. Carmel after she was observed operating a motor vehicle at the intersection of 3rd and Market Street. The arresting officer knew Pierce was operating on a suspended driver’s license and initiated a traffic stop. Pierce was transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was cited for driving while license is suspended.

Mt. Carmel Police arrested 19 year old Daniel E. Dydo of Mt. Carmel. Dydo was arrested after being found in violation of an order of protection. Police responded to the campus of Wabash Valley College after receiving information that Dydo was at a basketball game and sitting near the protected party listed on the order of protection. Dydo was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with the violation. Dydo was held pending the posting of bond.
Mt. Carmel Police were called to the 500 block of E. 7th Street reference an unwanted person. When police arrived on scene, they observed 23 year old Jacob Wilkinson of Mt. Carmel standing on the front porch of the residence. The occupants of the residence requested Wilkinson be removed from the premises. Before leaving the residence it was discovered Wilkinson was in possession of drug paraphernalia and suspected narcotics. Wilkinson was placed under arrest and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Wilkinson is being held pending the posting of bond.
