A 46 year old McLeansboro man, Patrick Bishop was arrested on a McLeansboro Police Sunday around 8:20 PM. A McLeansboro Police Officer observed walking at the intersection of Randolph St and Locust Street and knew he had an active Hamilton County Warrant for Probation Violation. Bishop was arrested and transported to White County Jail where it was discovered that Bishop had methamphetamine on his person. Bishop is facing new charges of Possession of Methamphetamine. Bishop is awaiting bond being set by a judge.
39 year old Brandi Pierce of Enfield was arrested Monday morning at 6:45, following a traffic stop by McLeansboro Police. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Pierce had a Hamilton County Warrant for Failure to Appear on a Driving on a Suspended License charge. As a result of the traffic stop Pierce received citations for Driving on a Suspended License, No Valid Insurance, No Valid Registration, and Illegal Transportation of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle. Pierce was transported to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office where she posted $375 cash and was released from custody.
