A Florida man was nearly run down and over in the Grayville Super 8 Motel parking lot Sunday morning according to a report out of the White County Sheriff’s Office and the man behind the wheel is an illegal alien if witnesses are to be believed. The report indicates the aggravated assault occurred just after 9am Sunday. Kimberly Hernandez, of Orlando, Florida told officers the man driving was Raymond Rodriguez, the father of her children and that she had picked him up in St. Louis and brought him to the motel. Hernandez told officers Raymond indicated to her he planned to take their children and leave the country, but that he told her if she gave him her vehicle, he would leave and not attempt to take the children. Hernandez allegedly says she felt she had no choice and gave him the vehicle.
When Raymond found out Hernandez and a Teber Zambrano were in a relationship, he became angry according to Hernandez prompting him to have allegedly attempted to run down and over Zambrano. The victim told officers that while he didn’t strike him, the vehicle did make contact with a column supporting the motel’s covered entrance. Raymond then allegedly, bleeding from the head, ran off toward the interstate.
No other information has been released and the report doesn’t provide a description of Raymond Rodriguez.
