Carmi Police were called to 117 Kerney Thursday afternoon where they arrested24 year old Alfredo Gutierrez. According to the report, a 911 call was placed sometime around 4pm. While officers were on scene, Gutierrez allegedly grabbed a roommate, 25 year old Antonio Hernandez and began biting him. After a brief struggle with authorities, Gutierrez was taken into custody and placed in custody. He’s been charged with Domestic Battery and also Resisting a Peace Officer.
