The Carmi-White County Girls Golf team traveled to West Frankfort yesterday for the Black Diamond Conference Tournament, and the Lady Bulldogs finished in 3rd Place with a team score of 389.
Ava Shiever was named all-conference as she finished 4th overall, shooting an 86.
Kinley Carter just missed the all-conference cut as she finished 9th overall, shooting a 96.
Maeve Atteberry shot a 102.
Courtney Snow shot a 105.
Sadie Balding shot a 108.
Katelyn Davis shot a 128.
The Lady Bulldogs will have one more match before regionals, they will travel to Mt. Carmel on Monday.
The CWC Boys Golf team will head to West Frankfort today for the BDC Tournament, weather permitting.
The Carmi-White County junior high baseball and softball teams traveled to Mt. Carmel yesterday afternoon for the SIJHSAA Regional Semi-finals, and both teams came away with wins.
The Bullpups defeated Olney 11-8, and the Lady Bullpups defeated Mt. Carmel 5-4.
Both teams will play in the Regional Championship game on Saturday for a chance to go to the state tournament.
