The Carmi-White County boys golf team took part in the Black Diamond Conference championship yesterday afternoon in West Frankfort, and the Bulldogs finished in 3rd place with a team score of 356.
Aidan Willis was named all-conference after shooting an 87.
Maxon O’Daniel shot an 88.
Cayden Holloman shot a 90.
Jax Jordan shot a 91.
Gabe Winkleman shot a 95.
Connor Newell shot a 100.
The Bulldogs will wrap up the regular season on Monday at Mt. Carmel before they begin regionals late next week.
The Carmi-White County Jr. High baseball and softball teams were supposed to begin regionals yesterday afternoon in Olney, but those games were moved to today due to rain. The Bullpups will take on Olney at 2 PM and the Lady Bullpups will face Mt. Carmel at 4 PM.
Tonight the Carmi-White County Bulldog football team will travel to Fairfield to battle the Mules in Rivalry Week for the Black Diamond Conference. The Bulldogs enter tonight’s game with a 3-1 record, meanwhile Fairfield is 1-3. Fans who can’t attend can watch and listen to tonight’s game on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel. The Taylor Eye Care pre-game show will begin at 6:45 PM.
