The Carmi-White County boys golf team defeated Flora yesterday by a final score of 180-184.
Cayden Holloman shot a team best 41.
Connor Newell and Aidan Willis both shot a 46.
Gabe Winkleman and Jax Jordan both shot a 47.
Abe Girten shot a 51.
Both the boys and the girls golf teams will travel to Fairfield today.
The Carmi-White County junior high baseball and softball teams took the long road trip to Flora yesterday afternoon. Baseball fell 10-3 and softball fell 13-4. Both teams will host Harrisburg today for their final home game of the season.
The CWC Girls Tennis team will travel to Marion today.
Coming up this Friday the Carmi-White County football team will host the Sesser-Valier Red Devils for week 4 of the IHSA football season. The Bulldogs had a bye week last week, meanwhile Sesser-Valier defeated Fairfield 22-12. Carmi and Sesser-Valier are currently tied with Johnston City at the top of the BDC with 3-0 records. Fans will be able to watch and listen to Friday’s game on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel and 97.3 FM WRUL.
