The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog Volleyball team defeated Flora last night in 2 sets, 25-9 and 25-8. The win improves the Lady Bulldogs record to 9-0 on the year, and 2-0 in the Black Diamond Conference.
The Lady Bulldogs will begin play in the NCOE Tournament tonight as they face Eldorado at 6 PM, and Thompsonville at 8 PM. Tomorrow night, the Lady Dogs will face Hamilton County at 5 PM and NCOE at 8 PM.
Fans will be able to watch that 8 PM match against Norris City tomorrow night on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel.
The Carmi-White County Boys and Girls Golf Teams hosted Flora yesterday afternoon at the Carmi-Country Club.
The Bulldogs defeated Flora 158-173.
Aidan Willis & Gabe Winkleman both medaled with a score of 37.
Cayden Holloman shot a 41.
Maxon O’Daniel shot a 43.
Abe Girten shot a 44.
Jax Jordan shot a 45.
The Lady Bulldogs finished with a team score of 199, as the Flora Girls team did not score.
Ava Shiever was a medalist after shooting a 47.
Courtney Snow & Maeve Atteberry both shot a 50.
Kinley Carter shot a 52.
Sadie Balding shot a 53.
Katelyn Davis shot a 58.
The Lady Bulldogs will travel to Marion today, the Bulldogs will travel to West Frankfort tomorrow.
The Carmi-White County junior high baseball and softball teams traveled to Eldorado yesterday.
The Bullpups fell 11-1, the Lady Bullpups won 29-16.
Junior high baseball will travel to Gallatin County today, both teams will host Flora on Tuesday.
The CWC Girls Tennis team will be in action today as they host Carbondale.
