The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog Volleyball team defeated Flora last night on the road in 2 sets, 25-10, 25-8, to improve their record to 22-1 on the season and 6-0 in the Black Diamond Conference. The Lady Bulldogs will have the weekend off, but they will travel to Edwards County on Monday for a big BDC clash with the Lady Lions.
The CWC Cross Country Team traveled to Robinson yesterday for the Cork Classic Invitational.
In the Boys Varsity Run,
Andrew Benham finished 8th overall with a time of 16:59.76.
Luke Bolerjack finished 84th.
Jayde Albright finished 104th.
Sylar Lynn finished 127th.
In the Girls Varsity Run,
Ally Pollard finished 56th.
Gabbie Conover finished 69th.
The Bulldogs will run at Harrisburg on Wednesday.
Tonight the Carmi-White County Bulldog Football team will host Christopher-Zeigler Royalton for the 2024 Homecoming Game. The Bulldogs come in with a 4-1 record after defeating Fairfield earlier this week, meanwhile CZR is 0-5 on the year, they’re coming off a 50-6 loss against Sesser-Valier last week.
Fans who can’t make it tonight will be able to watch and listen on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel.
The Carmi-White County junior high softball team will face Marion tomorrow at 1 PM at the SIJHSAA State Tournament in Centralia. If the Lady Bullpups win, they’ll face either Sparta or Hamilton County on Tuesday.
The CWC Jr. Pro 7th/8th Grade team will play Flora tomorrow at 4 PM in Sesser for the Black Diamond Conference Championship Game. The Bulldogs look to win their first Jr. Pro BDC title since 2019.
