Five Carmi-White County golfers were in action yesterday at the IHSA Golf Sectionals in Waterloo and Taylorville.
At the Waterloo Sectional,
Maxon O’Daniel finished tied for 46th place with an 83.
Aidan Willis finished tied for 81st place with a 91.
Cayden Holloman finished in 101st place with a 104.
At the Taylorville Sectional,
Courtney Snow finished tied for 72nd place with a 105.
Ava Shiever finished tied for 35th place with a 95. She was just 5 strokes away from making the cut for the state finals.

The Carmi-White County girls tennis team defeated Benton yesterday afternoon by a final of 5-4. The Lady Bulldogs have now won 6 matches in a row. JV also beat Benton yesterday, 5-0.
The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog Volleyball team will travel to Hamilton County tonight. The Lady Bulldogs are 17-2 on the year and they look to improve to 7-1 in the BDC.
