The Carmi-White County JV Volleyball team will take part in the NCOE Tournament tonight.
This Friday the Carmi-White County Bulldog Football team will travel to Johnston City to face the Indians in their final game of the regular season. Both teams come in with a 7-1 record. If the Bulldogs win, they will win a share of the Black Diamond Conference Championship. If the Indians win, they will win the BDC crown outright for the 4th time in the last 5 years.
Fans who can’t make the road trip to Johnston City on Friday will be able to watch and listen to the game on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel.
This Saturday Night the Bulldogs will find out who their opponent will be in the first round of the IHSA playoffs. The IHSA will release the playoff pairings this Saturday night. The Bulldogs could be seeded in the top 5 in the southern 2A bracket if they beat Johnston City, but a loss will likely place the Bulldogs in the 8-11 seed range and will likely send them on the road in the opening round. Stay tuned to the WRUL Sports Facebook page Saturday night for updates.
