The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog Volleyball team improved their record to 17-11 last night with a two-set win at home against Harrisburg, winning 25-11 and 25-16. The Lady Dogs will make the short trip to Grayville tonight to face the Bison. Tomorrow the freshman and sophomore volleyball team will participate in the NCOE tournament. The Varsity squad will then take part in the Fairfield tournament this Saturday to wrap up the regular season. Regionals begin a week from tonight, Carmi will be the 4 seed in the southern half of the Pinckeyville sectional, which makes them the 2 seed in the Mt. Carmel regional. They will play the winner of 5 seed Mt. Carmel and 10 seed Harrisburg on the 25th in Mt. Carmel.
The CWC JV Football team lost to Johnston City 28-8.
