The Carmi-White County Bulldog Football team defeated Edwards County on Friday by a final score of 48-6.
Noah Pollard led the Bulldogs’ rushing attack with 203 yards on 23 carries with 2 touchdowns.
Kade Stockton had 58 yards on 10 carries with 2 touchdowns.
Kale Wiggins carried the ball 7 times for 47 yards.
Branson Burnett and Madden Anderson also scored rushing touchdowns in the win.
Carmi-White County improves to 6-1 on the season, as they clinch a playoff berth for the 4th straight season and 19th time under Kurt Simon. The Bulldogs will host Eldorado this Friday for Senior Night.

The IHSA released the 2024 Volleyball postseason brackets on Friday, and the Carmi-White County Lady Bulldogs are the #1 seed in the southern sub-sectional in the Fairfield Sectional. Carmi will host a regional that will begin October 28. The Lady Bulldogs will play either Lawrenceville or Flora on Tuesday, October 29th. The regional championship will then be played on October 31.
