The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog Volleyball team defeated Eldorado in 2 sets last night, 25-6 and 25-4 to improve their record to 25-1 and 9-0 in the BDC.
With the win, the Lady Bulldogs clinch at least a share of the Black Diamond Conference Championship for the first time since 2015.
The Lady Bulldogs will travel to Cisne on Tuesday, and they will then host Fairfield next Thursday.
The IHSA will release the 2024 Volleyball Postseason brackets later on today.
The Lady Bulldogs are the #1 seed in their sub-sectional, and they will host a regional this year at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium.
Tonight the Carmi-White County football team will travel to Edwards County to face the Lions. The Bulldogs come in with a 5-1 record, meanwhile Edwards County is 1-5. A win for the Bulldogs will clinch a spot in the IHSA Playoffs for the 4th straight season, and the 19th time under head coach Kurt Simon.
