The CWC Girls Tennis team fell at host against Salem, 6-3. Callie Acord & Elie Kiser won their doubles and Mylie Cronin and Aly Albright won their singles.
The CWC Cross-Country team ran at Harrisburg yesterday.
Andrew Benham finished 4th overall in the Boys Varsity run with a time of 17:35.7.
Luke Bolerjack finished 18th.
Syler Lynn finished 44th.
In the Girls Varsity Run,
Gabbie Conover finished in 20th Place in the Girls Varsity run with a time of 25:32.25.
Ally Pollard finished 22nd overall.
The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog Volleyball team will travel to Eldorado to face the Lady Eagles in a Black Diamond Conference matchup. The Lady Bulldogs enter tonight’s game with a record of 24-1 and 8-0 in the BDC, and with a win tonight the Lady Bulldogs will clinch at least a share of the Black Diamond Conference for the first time since 2015.
The IHSA will release the Volleyball Regional Seeds this afternoon. Carmi-White County will host a regional this year, and it appears the Lady Bulldogs are a lock for the #1 seed in the sub-sectional. The IHSA will then release the full postseason brackets tomorrow.
Tomorrow night the Carmi-White County football team will travel to Edwards County to face the Lions. The Bulldogs come in with a 5-1 record, meanwhile Edwards County is 1-5. A win for the Bulldogs will clinch a spot in the IHSA Playoffs for the 4th straight season, and the 19th time under head coach Kurt Simon.
Fans who can’t make the road trip will only be able to listen to the game on 97.3 FM WRUL and online at WRUL.com. The game will NOT be streamed on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel due to lack of space and internet in the Edwards County pressbox.
