The Carmi-White County wrestling team defeated Mt. Carmel last night 60-21 in their first home match of the season. 

Gage Anderson, Conner Benham, Travor Mason, Stone McGee and Davyn Anderson all received forfeits in their respective weight classes.

Luke Bolerjack pinned his opponent in the 126 weight class in 0:48
Madden Anderson pinned his opponent in the 132 weight class in 1:23
Kale Wiggins pinned his opponent in the 138 weight class in 4:10
Nelson Rider pinned his opponent in the 190 weight class in just :15
Konner Buchanan pinned his opponent in the 215 weight class in just :40

The two teams also had a junior high exhibition match prior to the varsity match.
For Carmi,
Malachi Oberlander, Branson Burnett, David James, Trenton Chambers, Caleb King, Drennan Aud and Cole Evans all won their matches. 

The Bulldog wrestlers will be back in action on Saturday as they take part in the Lawrenceville tournament. 

The Carmi-White County girls basketball team will travel to Eldorado tonight to face the Lady Eagles. The Lady Bulldogs are 5-1 on the season after taking down Hamilton County back on Tuesday. 

The Carmi-White County boys basketball team will play the Herrin Tigers tomorrow night at the DuQuoin Tip-Off Classic. Both teams are 2-0 in the tournament, and the winner of tomorrow’s game will play in the tournament championship game on Saturday.
