Carmi-White County sophomore Torrie Rider traveled to Charleston for the IHSA Girls State Track Meet over the weekend. Rider finished in the top 12 in Thursday’s preliminaries, moving her to the State Finals. On Saturday, Rider placed 11th with a throw of 35.95 feet. Congratulations to Torrie Rider on a great season!
There will be six Bulldogs who will head to Charleston this weekend for the IHSA Boys State Track Meet.
Beck Huff, Noah Pollard, Kale Wiggins, and Nelson Rider will run the 4×1 and 4×2 Relays.
Lane Connaway will run the 2 Mile Race.
Mitchel Edwards will compete in High Jump, Long Jump, and Triple Jump.

The Carmi-White County softball team will take on Carterville at the IHSA 2A Sectional in Carterville on Wednesday at 4 PM.
The Lady Bulldogs punched their ticket to sectionals after defeating Fairfield 9-0 in the Regional Championship game back on Thursday. It was their first regional title since 2016.
