Today is the beginning of the IHSA Boys Basketball state finals at the State Farm Center on the campus of the University of Illinois in Champaign.
This morning will be the 1A semifinals with Waterloo-Gibault Catholic battling Bloomington Cornerstone at 10 am, followed by Tuscola taking on Scales Mound at 11:45.
The two losers of those games will face off tonight at 7 PM in the 1A 3rd Place Game.
Then this afternoon will be the 2A state semifinals with Teutopolis taking on Chicago DePaul College Prep at 2:30, and then Rockridge will battle Bloomington Central Catholic at 4:15 PM.
The two losers of those games will face off tonight at 8:45 PM in the 2A 3rd Place Game.
The 3A & 4A semifinals will take place tomorrow with all 4 state championship games begin played on Saturday.
