The IHSA Boys basketball state finals came to a close this weekend,
In the 1A state championship, Waterloo Gibault Catholic defeated Scales Mound 65-45. Tuscola took home 3rd place in 1A.
In the 2A state championship, Chicago Depaul College Prep took down Blooming Central Catholic 65-41.
Teutopolis won 3rd place in 2A.
In the 3A state championship, Metamora defeated Chicago Simeon 46-42.
In the 4A state championship, Moline took down Benet Academy 59-42.
The Carmi-White County boys tennis match scheduled for today against Henderson County has been canceled due to cold weather conditions.
