Carmi-White County senior, Bryce Conner, has committed to play basketball at Oakland City University.
Conner finished his CWC career with a memorable senior season, averaging nearly 16 points and 6 rebounds per game as the Bulldogs went 26-6, winning the Black Diamond Conference East for the first time since 2016.
Conner becomes just the 4th Bulldog to play basketball at the collegiate level in the past decade. Lawson Warren played college ball at Lindenwood-Belleville, Travis Jones played at Missouri Southern State and USI, and Devin Rankin played at SIC.
Congratulations and best of luck to Bryce Conner.
The Carmi-White County baseball and softball teams will begin their seasons on Monday. The Lady Bulldogs will host Grayville and the Bulldogs will host West Frankfort. Monday’s baseball game can be heard on 97.3 FM WRUL and online at WRUL.com
