The Carmi-White County boys basketball team defeated Evansville Day School last night 60-43 to improve to 11-3 on the season. 

The Bulldogs were led in scoring by Landon Driscoll who scored 22 points.
Gavin Holloman scored 20 points.
Mitchel Edwards scored 15 points.
Kade Stockton scored 3 points. 

The Bulldogs will now have 6 days off as their next game won’t be until next Tuesday when they travel to Edwards County. They were supposed to travel to Eldorado this Friday, but that game has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date. 

The Carmi-White County girls basketball team picked up a big win last night over Harrisburg, 54-44. Caroline Simmons led the way in scoring with 23 points, Ashlyn Rager added in 13. It marks the first time CWC has defeated Harrisburg since 2010. 

The Lady Bulldogs will travel to Edwards County tonight in a battle of two of the top teams in the Black Diamond Conference. Carmi is 15-3 on the year with a 4-0 conference record, and Edwards County is 14-4 on the year with a 3-0 conference record. 

Fans can listen to and watch tonight’s game on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel. 

The CWC Wrestling team is also in action tonight. They will host Oblong at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium.
