Last week was a dandy for the Carmi-White County winter sports teams.
The CWC boys basketball team finished in 3rd Place at the Eldorado Holiday Tournament after a thrilling 55-54 comeback win over Harrisburg in the 3rd Place game. The Bulldogs are now 10-3 on the season, they will travel to Evansville Day School tomorrow night.
The CWC girls basketball team finished in 3rd Place at the Merry Mule tournament last week after defeating Fairfield 38-18 in the 3rd Place game. The Lady Bulldogs are now 15-3 on the year, they will host Harrisburg tomorrow night.
The Bulldog wrestling team went 4-0 at the Carterville tournament last Thursday. Carmi defeated Effingham, Centralia, Trico and Carterville on the day. The Bulldog wrestlers are now 10-5 on the year and they will host Oblong at home on Thursday.
