Tonight is the 3rd night of the 43rd Annual Carmi-White County Invitational Tournament.

Carmi will play Mt. Vernon at 7 PM.

Carmi comes into tonight’s game with a 14-4 record, meanwhile Mt. Vernon is just 5-8 on the season.

Last night the Bulldogs wrestling team hosted the Black Diamond Conference Championships at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium.

Carmi finished in 3rd place out of 5 teams, with Goreville finishing in 2nd and Fairfield claiming the conference title for the 2nd straight year.

Carmi however did have 4 wrestlers claim conference championships in their weight classes.

Matt Wilson won the conference title in the 126 weight class, as did Dylan Ackerman in 132, Layne Gwaltney in 152 and Nelson Rider in 195.
