The Carmi-White County boys basketball team defeated Evansville Day by a final score of 60-33 in night one of the 44th annual Carmi-White County Invitational Tournament. 

The Bulldogs improve to 13-4 on the season, they will take on Harrisburg tonight. Harrisburg fell to Mt. Vernon (IN) last night 68-54. Carmi has played Harrisburg once already this season, defeating them 55-54 in the 3rd Place Game at the Eldorado Holiday Tournament. 

Fans can watch and listen to tonight’s game on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel. 

The other CIT game tonight will be Fairfield vs Evansville Day School at 5:30 PM.

The Carmi-White County girls basketball team defeated Johnston City 47-40 yesterday at the Eldorado Lady Eagle Winter Classic. Carmi moves into the 5th Place Game where they will face Eldorado tomorrow night at 7:30 PM.

The Carmi-White County wrestling team hosted the CWC Invite Tournament on Saturday at Washington School, and the Bulldogs finished in 6th Place overall.

Nelson Rider finished in 1st Place in the 190 weight class.
Caleb Siebers finished in 2nd Place in the 175 weight class.
Travor Mason finished in 3rd Place in the 113 weight class.
Conner Benhman finished in 4th Place in the 120 weight class.
Gavin Peyton finished in 4th Place in the heavyweight class.
Madden Anderson finished in 5th Place in the 132 weight class.
Kale Wiggins finished in 5th Place in the 138 weight class.
Timothy James finished in 5th Place in the 150 weight class.

The Bulldog wrestlers will host Centralia on Wednesday night for senior night. Fans will be able to watch that match on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel.
