The Carmi-White County girls basketball team fell on the road last night to Flora by a final score of 36-23. The Lady Bulldogs fall to 9-18 on the season and they finish conference play with an 0-10 record in the BDC East.
Yesterday the IHSA released the seeds for girls basketball regionals.
In Carmi’s sub-sectional, the seeds are as follows:
- Teutopolis
- Robinson
- Vandalia
- Fairfield
- Mt. Carmel
- Newton
- Marshall
- Salem
- Flora
- Carmi
- Palestine
- Lawrenceville
The regional brackets will be released later on today. Carmi will host the regional tournament in 2 weeks.
The Carmi-White County boys basketball team will travel to Flora tonight for a big conference matchup with the Wolves.
Carmi is 6-0 in the BDC East, meanwhile Flora is 5-1, with their only loss coming to Carmi back in December.
The winner of tonight’s game will be in 1st place in the conference.
Varsity will tip-off around 7:30, fans can listen to the game on 97.3 FM WRUL, or they can watch the game on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel.
The Bulldogs will also be in action tomorrow as they host Mt. Carmel. JV will tip at 2 PM, Varsity will start around 3:30.
