Multiple area boys basketball teams brought home regional championships back on Friday. 

In the 1A Woodlawn Regional, Waltonvile defeated Okawville 52-26.

In the 1A Hardin County Regional, Meridian defeated Hardin County 79-48.

In the Edwards County 1A Regional, Christ Our Rock Lutheran defeated Edwards County 39-35.

In the Cobden 1A Regional, Goreville defeated Crab Orchard 81-51.

In the 2A Massac County Regional, Massac County defeated Vienna 62-58.

In the 2A Breese Central Regional, Breese Central defeated Pinckneyville 42-21.

In the West Frankfort 2A Regional, Benton defeated Carterville 64-48.

In the Vandalia 2A Regional, Flora defeated Robinson 59-58.

In the Marion 3A Regional, Centralia defeated Marion 42-35. 

In the Charleston 3A Regional, Mt. Vernon defeated Olney 40-37. 

IHSA Sectionals Semifinals will begin tomorrow, Sectional Championships will be played on Friday.

At the NCOE 1A Sectional,
Waltonville will face Meridian tomorrow.
Goreville will battle Waterloo Gibault Catholic on Wednesday.

At the Benton 2A Sectional,
Massac County will face Breese Central tomorrow night.
Benton will battle Trenton Wesclin on Wednesday. 

At the Shelbyville 2A Sectional,
Flora will face St. Joseph Odgen tomorrow night.
Tolono Unity will battle Teutopolis Wednesday. 

There are still a few area high school girls basketball teams who are in action and will play for a Super-Sectional championship tonight, looking to advance to this weekend’s IHSA State Finals.

At the Okawville 1A Super-Sectional,
Goreville will battle the defending State Champions, Okawville.

At the 2A Vandalia Super-Sectional,
Nashville will take on Camp Point Central.

At the 2A Tolono-Unity Super-Sectional,
Robinson will face Peotone.
