Tonight the Carmi-White County boys basketball team will travel to Edwards County to face the Lions in a Black Diamond Conference matchup. The game was originally scheduled for last night, but was postponed due to winter weather. The Bulldogs come into tonight’s game with a 18-4 overall record, including a 5-0 BDC record. Edwards County is 5-16 on the year and 0-5 in the BDC.
Fans who can’t attend the game can listen to all the action on 97.3 FM WRUL, or they can watch the game on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel. Varsity will tip off around 7:30.
The CWC Wrestling team is also in action tonight as they host Trico and West Frankfort for senior night. The match was also originally scheduled to be played last night, but was moved to tonight due to weather. It is the final match of the regular season before the Bulldogs begin regionals in Anna-Jonesboro this weekend.
The CWC Girls basketball team will travel to Flora tomorrow night for their final conference game of the season. The Lady Bulldogs will also learn their regional fate tomorrow afternoon. Carmi will host a regional this season, but tomorrow they will find out who they will play and when.
