The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldogs fell to Fairfield on the road last night by a final score of 52-33. Mara Serafini led Carmi in scoring with 15 points. The Lady Dogs fall to 2-7 on the season and 0-3 in the Black Diamond Conference. They will host Flora on Thursday.
Tonight the CWC boys basketball team will host NCOE at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium. The Fighting Cardinals are 2-3 on the season after defeating Thompsonville back on Friday. Carmi is 4-1 on the season after finishing in 2nd place in last week’s DuQuoin Tip-Off Classic. Head coach Kevin Wolff knows what to expect from NCOE.
