The Carmi-White County girls basketball team won their 6th straight game last night, defeating Mt. Vernon, Indiana 65-41.
Carmi led by just 11 at the half, but they grew their lead to 23 at the end of the 3rd quarter before eventually winning by 24.
Mara Serafini led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with 21 points.
Addi Elliott scored 14 points.
Caroline Simmons scored 11 points.
Ashlyn Rager scored 8 points.
Johanna Smith scored 7 points.
Torrie Rider scored 4 points.
The Lady Bulldogs improve to 9-1 on the year. They will host Hardin County on Thursday.
The JV Lady Bulldogs also won last night over Mt. Vernon 31-30, thanks to a last second shot from Eva Attebury.
