The Carmi-White County girls basketball team will cross state lines tonight as they take on the Mt. Vernon Lady Wildcats. The Lady Bulldogs look to improve their record to 9-1 on the year, and extend their win streak to 6.

Tomorrow afternoon will be the annual Eldorado Holiday Tournament seed meeting as we are just 2 weeks away from the start of the tournament. Coaches from all 26 teams will meet tomorrow to pick and choose who will be seeded 1-8 and who will then play those teams in the opening round.
Carmi-White County has made their case for a top 5 seed after jumping out to a 6-1 record this season. Massac County, Carterville, Herrin and Vienna are also expected to be top 5 seeds for this year’s EHT.
