Next week marks not only the beginning of school for Carmi-White County Unit 5 schools, but also the beginning of practice for Carmi-White County fall sports teams.
The CWC Lady Bulldog Volleyball team will hold tryouts next Monday, August 12th and Tuesday, August 13th from 3pm-5pm at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium.
The Lady Bulldogs will play their first match on Monday, August 26th at Mt. Carmel. They will then play their first home match the following night on Tuesday, August 27th against Edwards County.
CWC Volleyball fans will get a chance to see this year’s team before those two matches. The 2024 Fall Sports Preview will take place on Thursday, August 22nd that will feature a scrimmage from the Lady Bulldogs as well as introductions of all the fall sports athletes.
And for all those fall sports athletes needing a sports physical for the 2024-2025 school year, this week would be a great week to get those completed.
