The Carmi-White County girls golf team traveled to Benton yesterday afternoon to face Benton and CZR, and the Lady Bulldogs came away victorious with a team score of 210.
Ava Shiever shot a team-best 43.
Courtney Snow shot a 51.
Sadie Balding and Kinley Carter both shot a 58.
Maeve Atteberry shot a 61.
Katelyn Davis shot a 63.
The Lady Bulldogs will be in action today as will the Boys Golf Team as both teams will travel to Harrisburg this afternoon.
The Carmi-White County jr. high baseball and softball teams will host Hamilton County today.
Tonight is the CWCHS Fall Sports Preview. All CWC fall sports athletes and teams will be recognized, and the night will be capped off with a scrimmage from the CWC Volleyball team. Fans who can’t attend will be able to watch on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel.
Introductions will begin at 7 PM.
Tomorrow night the Carmi-White County Football team will travel to Red Hill for a scrimmage with the Salukis. This is the first season that the IHSA has allowed 11-on-11 scrimmages prior to the start of the regular season. The scrimmage will feature offensive and defensive snaps from the varsity, junior varsity, and freshmen levels.
The Bulldogs will then kick-off their season next Friday when they host the Flora Wolves.
