Today is the beginning of a busy week for the Carmi-White County Fall Sports teams. The CWCHS Volleyball, Girls Tennis and Football teams all begin competition this week, while Golf, Junior High baseball and softball continue regular season play.
Today, the girls golf team will travel to West Frankfort for a match beginning at 4 PM. The girls tennis team will host Salem for their first match of the season, beginning at 4 PM. Junior high baseball and softball are on the road in Fairfield today, first pitch for both games is set for 4:30. And tonight, the Lady Bulldog Volleyball team will begin their season as they travel to Mt. Carmel to take on the Golden Aces. The JV Match will begin at 6:15 with Varsity to follow.
The Volleyball team will then be at home tomorrow night as they host Edwards County.
On Wednesday, the Boys and Girls Golf Teams will host Hamilton County.
On Thursday, Junior High baseball and softball will host Eldorado.
On Friday, the Carmi-White County Football team will kick off their season at Hamilton County. You can listen to that game live on 97.3 FM WRUL as well as online at WRUL.com, and you can watch it live on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel.
And on Saturday, the Girls Tennis team will travel to Marion for the Marion Invitational Tournament. Junior High softball will also take part in an invitational tournament as they travel to Johnston City. And Saturday Night the Jr. Pro football teams will take on the Mules in Fairfield.
