The Carmi-White County junior high baseball and softball teams hosted Eldorado yesterday afternoon.
The Lady Bullpups won by a final score of 14-3, and the Bullpups fell by a final of 12-1.
Both teams will be back in action tomorrow as they host Hamilton County.
The Carmi-White County Girls Golf team will travel to Benton today. Then tomorrow the boys and girls golfers will travel to Harrisburg.
Tomorrow night the annual CWCHS Fall Sports Preview will take place at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium. All fall sports athletes and teams will be introduced, and the night will be capped off with a scrimmage from the CWC Volleyball team. Introductions will get underway at 7 PM. Fans who can’t attend will be able to watch on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel.
This Friday the Carmi-White County Football team will travel to Red Hill for a scrimmage with the Salukis. This is the first season that the IHSA has allowed 11-on-11 scrimmages prior to the start of the regular season. The scrimmage will feature offensive and defensive snaps from the varsity, junior varsity, and freshmen levels.
The Bulldogs will then kick-off their season next Friday when they host the Flora Wolves.
