The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog Volleyball team will begin their season tonight as they host Mt. Carmel at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium. The Lady Bulldogs finished last season with a record of 21-13, and last week they were voted 5th in the Deep South Preseason Coaches Poll. Fans who can’t attend tonight’s match can watch it live on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel.
The CWC Girls Tennis team will also begin their season today as they travel to Salem.
The CWC Girls Golf team will host West Frankfort today at the Carmi Country Club.
The Carmi-White County junior high baseball and softball teams will host Fairfield today.
The Carmi-White County Jr. Pro football teams began their seasons back on Saturday. The 5th and 6th grade Bulldogs fell to Vienna, 22-0. But the 7th and 8th graders defeated the Eagles, 36-6. Carmi will host Christopher this Saturday.
