The Carmi-White County junior high baseball and softball teams traveled to Eldorado yesterday afternoon. The Bullpup baseball team lost to fall to 1-2 on the season, but the Lady Bullpups improved to 3-2 on the year with a 19-5 win.
Ava Ballard got the win on the mound after allowing just 1 earned run with 5 strikeouts through 3 innings.
Addie Courson, Bri Hale, Briley McCallister, Sydney Stallings, Alex Vaupel, and Emily Hollingsworth all collected hits in the win. Both the Bullpups and the Lady Bullpups will travel to Hamilton County tomorrow.
The CWCHS golf teams will host Harrisburg tomorrow afternoon at the Carmi Country Club.
Coming up this Friday night is the annual Fall Sports Preview at Carmi-White County High School. Fans who attend will get to meet all of the CWC fall sports teams and athletes. The night will be capped off by the annual Gator Bowl scrimmage from the CWC football team. Admission to the event is a bottle of Gatorade or any sports drink.
