The Carmi-White County junior high softball went 1-2 over the weekend at the Marion tournament, defeating Elverado but falling to McCraken County, KY and Carterville. The Lady Bullpups currently sit at 2-2 on the young season as they will host Olney this afternoon at Archie Brown field.
The CWC junior high baseball team will also host Olney today weather permitting. The Bullpups fell to Effingham back on Friday to fall to 1-1 on the season.
The Carmi-White County boys and girls golf teams will be in action today as the boys host NCOE and the girls host Massac County.
Coming up this Friday night is the annual Fall Sports Preview at Carmi-White County High School. Fans who attend will get to meet all of the CWCfall sports teams and athletes. The night will be capped off by the annual Gator Bowl scrimmage from the CWC football team. Admission to the event is a bottle of Gatorade or any sports drink.
