The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog softball team defeated Richland County on Saturday by a final score of 6-0.
Audrey Upton was dominant once again, she pitched all 7 innings allowing just 2 hits with 8 strikeouts.
At the plate, Upton went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI and her 4th home run of the season.
Addi Elliott went 3-for-4 with an RBI and 2 runs scored.
Mara Serafini went 1-for-4 with 3 RBI and a run scored.
Alayna Johnson went 1-for-3 with an RBI.
Mia Evans went 1-for-2 with a run scored.
Grace Sneed went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
The Lady Bulldogs have won 4 in a row and 7 of their last 8 games to improve their record to 14-4.
They will have another busy week this week as today they will travel to Mt. Vernon, IN.
Tomorrow they will host Eldorado.
Wednesday they will host West Frankfort.
Thursday they will travel to Eldorado.
The Carmi-White County Boys Tennis team traveled to Greenville on Saturday for a round robin.
The Bulldogs tied with Hillsboro 2-2, they then fell to Jerseyville 3-1, and lost to Greenville 4-0.
The Bulldogs will travel to Henderson County (KY) this afternoon.
