The Carmi-White County baseball and softball teams defeated Edwards County Tuesday afternoon, baseball winning 2-0 and softball winning 6-0.
Dominant pitching was the storyline for CWC on Tuesday for both the Bulldogs and the Lady Bulldogs as Audrey Upton and Landon Driscoll both pitch complete game shutouts.
The Lady Bulldogs improve to 8-6 on the year and 4-1 in the BDC East, the Bulldogs pick up a much needed win to improve to 5-9 on the year and 2-3 in the BDC East.
Both teams will travel to Edwards County tomorrow, however the Bulldogs will host Harrisburg this afternoon to Eckerle Park.
The CWC Boys Tennis team suffered their first loss of the season yesterday afternoon, losing to Herrin 8-1. The Bulldogs fall to 9-1 on the year, they will travel to Carbondale today.
The CWC Girls Track team will host the Lady Bulldog Invitational today at Harrington-Jeffries Sports Complex.
