It was a fun night for the Carmi-White County Lady Bulldogs on Monday as they took on Eldorado at the Harrisburg Preview Tournament.
It didn’t start that way however. Carmi struggled on the offensive end early on and they trailed 8-6 after the first quarter.
The Lady Dogs then woke up, beginning the 2nd quarter on a 14-0 run.
Once Carmi got the lead, it was over.
The Lady Dogs led 29-15 at half, 49-20 after 3 and went on to win by a final score of 54-24.
Mara Serafini led the team in scoring with 20 points.
Addi Elliott scored 11.
Caroline Simmons and Ashlyn Rager both scored 8.
Torrie Rider scored 5.
Johanna Smith scored 2.
The Lady Bulldogs are now 2-0 on the season. They will play West Frankfort on Tuesday, Harrisburg on Wednesday and Anna-Jonesboro on Saturday.
